I'm showing off a nice bright summer steelhead landed along the Grande Ronde River of North Eastern Oregon.

• I fish the Grande Ronde River - the Perfect River - for summer steelhead, and elsewhere for whatever I can catch.
• I hunt ducks, geese, upland game birds and big game in the mountains of Eastern Oregon.
• I work in my woodshop, making wooden tools for outdoors sportsmen and a bunch of other stuff as well.
• And of course, I write about what I do, what others do and often take photos along the way.  Read a Tall Fish Tale.

I'm working on a new book, Making Accessories for the Well-Appointed Fly Fisher. It will be a bit different from Turning Custom Duck and Games Calls, in that the new book will include nine projects of varying skill and technique with specific plans and instructions.  Don't worry though, I'll include instructions on how to modify each project to suit your individual needs.
