Hunting leads one to some beautiful country. This is a shot of the great fault-block Steens Mountains in Southeastern Oregon. From nearly 10,000 feet above sea level, we're looking up the Little Blitzen River before it drains into the huge Malheur National Wildlife Area. Our Sage Grouse hunt area was south of here on sage brush covered foothills of the Steens. | Pete French's Round Barn
