Here' a photo of the 2005 spring turkey hunt with me on the left, my son-in-law, Forrest; Corey and his brother Cam.  Read about the 2006 hunt.

Fall 2004 Sage Grouse  hunt only 10 miles north  of the Oregon/Nevada border.

I bagged this fine chocolate brown black bear during a fall 2005 hunt  on a bench above the Perfect River.  She'll make a fine bear rug.

My son-in-law calls 'em in with a maple burl duck call I turned and tuned.
  Hunting leads one to some beautiful country.  This is a shot of the great fault-block Steens Mountains in Southeastern Oregon.  From nearly 10,000 feet above sea level, we're looking up the Little Blitzen River before it drains into the huge Malheur National Wildlife Area.  Our Sage Grouse hunt area was south of here on sage brush covered foothills of the Steens.
