Predator calls are usually much the same as duck calls with a barrel and 2-piece stopper with a commercial reed and toneboard.

I make a wide variety of predator calls, imitating injured squirrels and rabbits.  The most effective call for bears, coyotes and cougars is one developed by Dan Kloer of Deep Timber Sounds.  I can make a set of matching predator calls for a variety of hunting opportunities.
